This trio of galaxies is lying around the body of Draco, between θ and ι Dra. Those galaxies are NGC5985, NGC5982 and NGC5981 from east (left in the image) to west, respectively. They're paralleling proportionally with intervals of about 7 arc minutes, and they have different angle and/or shape each other, we can appreciate them with interest.
NGC5985 is classified in bared galaxy, NGC5982 is elliptical having no striking structures, and NGC5981 is considered as a typical edge-on spiral. All galaxies have sizes with smaller than 5 arc minutes and visual brightness of dimmer than 12th magnitude. This image shows you these three galaxies in single flame looks like a showcase of sample galaxies. The distances are very different each other, to say, they're paralleling by chance. NGC5981 locates at the shortest distance compared to other two galaxies.
