This image captures two galaxies located approximately 36 arcminutes east of the 4th-magnitude 109 Virginis, the easternmost star of the constellation Virgo. The spiral galaxy on the right (west side) is NGC 5806, while the elliptical galaxy on the left (east side) is NGC 5813. Both belong to the Virgo III Galaxy Cluster, located at a distance of 70 to 100 million light-years. Although NGC 5813 appears slightly larger than NGC 5806, it is actually farther away.
