NGC5643 is an indistinct bared galaxy in western Lupus, nearby the western coast of Milky Way. You can find the galaxy about 2 degrees south of eta Centauri. Although the galaxy has a visual diameter of larger than 4 arc minutes, it hardly can be detected its spiral structures. Furthermore the galaxy has only 10 degrees in height of meridian transit, very difficult to observe under conditioned sky at northern hemisphere.
