This picture shows you a medium sized galaxy of NGC5102 in southern lower skies in region of Centaurus.
There is a bright 3rd magnitude star of iota Cen just 17 arc minutes west, this star is a good marker to search the galaxy.
NGC5102 has about 9 arc minutes in long axis and 10th magnitude in visual brightness.
You can find a famous radio galaxy of Centaurus A (NGC5128) only 6.5 degrees south of NGC5102.
