NGC45 is an extraordinary dimmed but medium sized irregular galaxy in south west edge of the constellation of Cetus. The galaxy has an elliptic shape with its long axis of 8 arc minutes and 11th magnitude in visual brightness. NGC45 has no major structure and forms a small-scaled galactic group with several surrounding minor galaxies.
