NGC4214 is a medium scaled irregular galaxy in southwest corner of Canes Venatici. The galaxy has a size of about a bit larger than 8 arc minutes and 10th magnitude in visual brightness. Although NGC4214 has been classified in irregular galaxy, you can detect indistinct structures looks like arms in outskirts. You can see the galaxy only central dimmed light with naked eyes.
