A medium scaled spiral galaxy in two degrees WSW of chi UMa is NGC3726. The galaxy has a long axis and visual brightness of about 6 arc minutes and 11th magnitude, respectively. The galaxy has arms spread in northern region, looks asymmetry figure. NGC3726 belongs to the southern UMa galaxy group, about 50 millions light years away.
