NGC3705 is a small spiral galaxy positioned at 2 degrees southeast of iota Leo in a hind leg. The galaxy looks an elliptical shape, has a long axis of about 5 arc minutes and a brightness of 12th magnitude or so. Although this image can show indistinct arms wound up, only elliptic lump of light can be detected through telescope-aided eyes. The distance from us has been estimated about 60 millions light years.
