NGC3137 is a spiral galaxy lying at the northern part of Antlia having a long axis of a bit longer than 5 arc minutes and a brightness of 12th magnitude. This image shows you an elliptical appearance elongated in north-south direction but the detailed structures are indistinct. The galaxy is approx. 40 million light years away and forming a small-scaled galaxy group with surrounding member galaxies.
