Between skies of winter and spring, NGC2613 is a comparatively larger spiral galaxy in northwest region of Pyxis. The galaxy is surrounded many fine stars because positioned near the Milky Way of lower southern skies. The galaxy has a long axis of larger than 7 arc minutes, you can recognize a well-proportioned shape resembling the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). The distance to the galaxy is about 60 millions light years.
