NGC1569 is a small irregular galaxy in southern region of Camelopardalis. The galaxy has an elliptic shape with a long axis of a bit smaller than 4 arc minutes, looks like a lenticular galaxy without clear structures. The galaxy is about 8 million light years away, a member of the Maffei galaxy group.
