This image has captured a compact spiral of NGC1315. The galaxy has only 1.5 arc minutes long axis, has no clear structures. The galaxy has been positioned in western region of the Eridanus Cluster, a famous barred galaxy of NGC1300 is lying about 2 degrees north of NGC1315.
