NGC1003 is a small edge-on galaxy positioned almost on the border line of Perseus and Andromeda. The galaxy has been classified in a spiral but this image cannot show clear structures, looks like an irregular galaxy. A long axis is a bit longer than 5 arc minutes and a brightness is about 12th magnitude.
