Objects around IC4628, H12 Italics denote the open clusters |
Around between mu and zeta Scorpii, there are various tiny clusters and diffused nebulae lying scattered.
They're positioned near the Milky Way of the Galaxy's central region.
A redish diffused nebula in central part is catalogued as IC4628, actually it's vast one being pushed out of the field of the photo.
And a very scattered large cluster occupies in just lower part of IC4628 is called H (Herschel's Catalogue) 12,
mainly consists of stars with magnitude 6th or 7th.
Finally you'll be able to identify a bright open cluster of NGC6231 in lower part of the picture.
This cluster is certainly worthy of being a Messier, while noticeable to the naked eye. Portable binoculars resolve its members.
