This is a small planetary nebula located at the eastern edge of Cassiopeia. It can be found just 2.2 degrees east of the diffuse nebula IC1848, known as the "Soul Nebula." Its apparent diameter is 48 arcseconds, and it shows a slightly distorted ring shape, with a 16th-magnitude central star also visible. The distance from the Solar System is about 5200 light-years, giving it a real diameter of approximately 1.2 light-years.
