NGC3448 is an irregular galaxy with a long axis of 5 arc minutes and a brightness of 12th magnitude positioned at 3 degrees SSW of beta UMa, Merak. The galaxy has an asymmetric jet structures stretched in east west directions formed by the gravitational interactions with a dimmed companion galaxy of UGC6016 in 4 arc minutes west, has a peculiar galaxy catalogue number of Arp205.
