This image shows you a small planetary nebula located in the eastern part of Orion, 4.2 degrees southeast of Betelgeuse. You can clearly see in the image that it looks like a red ring with a diameter of just over 2 arc minutes, but it is 16th magnitude and very faint, it is quite difficult to see it visually with scopes. A central star is so faint as about 20th magnitude that it is undetectable in this image. The distance is estimated as 3900 light years.
