This set of images shows you the change of active region #2192 from Oct 20 to 28 chased with the white-light (upper row) and the Hα light (lower row). The captured images have been corrected the apparent distortion by unfolding in flat, and turned the solar north-pole direction upward.
On Oct 20 the region just appeared from east rim, the image shows that the western (right had side) principal sunspot was undeveloped, while the region has evolved a typical bipolar group since Oct 24. As indicated in previous page, the region had a large-scaled flare on Oct 25, the image in this page shows its afterglow. The activities were keeping after this, the region reached near the solar west rim on Oct 28.

Warning: When using a telescope for observing or photographing the sun, lacking knowledge of proper solar filtering methods can pose risks of visual impairment or blindness.
