This GIF animation consists of 40 shots of Galilean Satellites for 9.5 hours taken every 15 minutes.
You can observe the Galilean Satellites easily only with small telescopes, following up of their movements is one of most suitable theme for beginners. This animation shows you the second satellite of Europa is hidden behind the Jupiter and appear from the opposite edge. And as you can see, some last scenes look poor quality due to bad seeing because the altitude of Jupiter became very low.
