This continuously composed image shows you the progress of total lunar eclipse on Oct 8, 2014 recorded by a fixed digital still camera for about 2.5 hours. Unfortunately the diurnal motion of Moon has been interrupted due to the clouds, but you can see that the eclipse progressed with the elevation of Moon getting higher and higher.
