This nine set of lunar eclipse images on Oct 8, 2014 have been HDR(High Dynamic Range)-composed of several images exposed with different EVs to represent wide differences of brightness. Our naked eyes can clearly recognize both lunar surface features in shadow and un-eclipsed parts same as these images. This set of images shows you that shadow near the edge of Umbra have a bit bluished color.
