This is a shot of comet LINEAR in January 2000. At that time the comet was lying in the constellation of Triangulum and had about 13th magnitude. The brightness was almost the lower limit to capture with amateur telescope. I couldn't detect the comet with naked eyes through the telescope, somehow recorded on long- exposed film. The comet moved toward WSW during 30 minutes exposure, this image represent the comet slight stretched.
