Comet Tabur on Oct 19 1996

Optical: TAKAHASHI 13cm(5.1") Newtonian with conversion lens (f=630mm, F4.8)
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Camera: VIXEN VX-1
Film: Fujicolor Super G Ace 800
Location: Koumi town, Nagano pref.



The comet Tabur in that day has positioned in Ursa Majoe having a dimmed two-degree tail in west direction. I could detect a 6th magnitude bluish coma clearly with a binocular. At that time the comet was moving away from the Earth. It was reported that the comet disappeared to spread in the beginning of next month.
