The comet Levy was discovered by D. H. Levy, Arizona, on May 20 1990 with a brightness of 9.6th magnitude. The comet brightened to about 3rd magnitude in the end of August 1990. The comet almost positioned the opposite of the sun, we could observe almost all summer night.
