I captured the comet Hale-Bopp in evening northwest skies at Tokyo. Although this image exposed only five seconds with a camera fixed on tripod, we can see a dust tail of the comet clearly. A portable binocular also could show me the tail with a length of about 5 degrees. Presently the comet has been bright enough to detect clearly right in the middle of Metropolis.
