Comet Hyakutake on Apr 13 1996

Optical:PENTAX 7.5cm(2.9") ED refractor with conversion lens (f=360mm, F4.8)
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Camera: MINOLTA SRT-101
Film: Fujicolor SuperG Ace 400
Location: Minamimaki vil,. Nagano pref.



I saw the comet Hyakutake off sinking toward the evening western skies. At that time the comet had a brightness of 3rd magnitude. Although it has no flashy appearance in the latter half of March, the thick tail seems exactly a broom, shows a beautiful figure as great comet. I estimated a length of tail as a bit shorter than 10 degrees with naked eyes, and this picture shows over 20 degrees.
