Composed 7 shots with 3min. exposed
Optical: VIXEN 20cm(7.9") VISAC with a conversion lens (f=1278mm, F6.4)
with BaaderPlanetarium Moon&Skyglow filter
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Hitachi-oota city, Ibaraki pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200



The comet 2014S2 PanSTARRS in that day can be detected at around a boundary between Draco and Ursa Minor with a clear 9th magnitude coma and a 5 arc minutes-stretched tail. The comet was positioned at about 70 degrees in declination, could be observed almost all night long. At the present the comet has about its maximum brightness, we will be able to appreciate it under well-conditions towards the end of the year.
