The comet 2014Q2 Lovejoy in that day has positioned at eastern part of Columba, the 6th magnitude coma can be detected with a portable binocular clearly. Although the scope-aided eyes cannot recognize, the images can show you a clear ion tail stretched in north direction with a length of about 2 degrees.
