Comet Machholtz in this day has positioned in Columba, almost same position with that captured 1 week ago (Oct 16). The comet has a visual brightness of about 8th magnitude and a coma with a diameter of about 5 arc minutes. A lower image taken with a telephoto lens shows you a clear and short tail in west direction being a bit warped. I could detect it in field of view of portable binocular, it seems brighter satisfactorily.
