The Comet 2001A2 LINEAR in this day was positioned in the constellation of Pegasus, I could observe the comet as a dimmed nebula-like coma with a brightness of about 5th magnitude. The comet had a small-scaled out-burst just before this image was captured, visual brightness was brighter than the predicted one.
The comet has a very dimmed ion tail with a length of over 3 degrees stretching in SW direction is detected in this image, although only coma was seen by naked eyes.
