This picture shows you two of good mark to find out constellations in spring.
Perhaps you can find easily the Big Dipper in northern sky, and by stretching the curve of dipper's handles to south, you can reach two bright stars of Arcturus in Bootes and Spica in Virgo. These stars have color of orange and white respectively, so it's impressive the contrast of them and they were called the "Couple stars in spring" in Japan.
The two stars form the "Great curve in spring" can also draw the "Great triangle in spring" by linking Denebola, star of Leo's tail with second magnitude.
