This image shows you a small reflection nebula positioned at about 7 degrees northwest from the Pleiades in Taurus. The nebula is lying at northern border between Taurus and Aries, has a span of about 7 arc minutes.
In this field of northern Taurus and Perseus, a vast and dimmed "Taurus molecular cloud" has distributed. vdB16 is an only small part reflecting the light of 9th magnitude star in center of the nebula. You can recognize a void region including almost no stars in upper part of this image, the region corresponds to a dark nebula of B204 with a span of about 14 arc minutes.
