This image captures the northernmost part of the constellation Perseus, about 10 degrees north of α Persei (Mirfak). On the left side of the image, the reflection nebula vdB10 can be seen around the 5.8 magnitude star HD20041 spanning approximately 8 arc minutes. On the right side of the image, a long, narrow Hα nebula stretches north to south across the field of view. This extremely faint nebula is identified as LBN 679 and has a north-south length of about 1.2 degrees.
