This image has captured a 44°×24° star field around western Taurus with a medium-ranged telephoto lens. You can recognize the Pleiades at a bit left hand side of the image, and the constellation of Aries is lying in right hand side of the image. This field includes an extraordinary dimmed inter-stellar gaseous matter of "The Taurus Molecular Cloud", from which plural stars has been born including the Pleiades. A lump of cloud in this image has distributed over 50 degrees, and other part of the cloud is distributed toward Aries in west, Perseus and Auriga in the eastern region. We have to expose long time under good transparency night sky to capture the cloud.
