A small reflection nebula at about 2.2 degrees north from zeta Tauri is Sh2-243. You can find the Crab Nebula (M1) at 1.7 degrees southwest of the nebula. Sh2-243 is a part of vast Taurus Molecular Cloud distributed around this field, reflecting the orange light of the central star. The span of the nebula is about 6 arc minutes.
