It is a circular nebula emitting Hƒ¿ light with a size of just over 2 arcminutes, located 2.6 degrees northwest of Deneb in the constellation Cygnus. Initially, the nebula was classified as a planetary nebula due to its shape, but recent studies have revealed it to be an emission nebula. Just to the south of this nebula lies the medium-sized diffuse nebula Sh2-115.
