This image shows you a comparatively larger planetary nebula in the center of pentagon of Cepheus. The nebula has an apparent diameter of approx. 15 arc minutes and the reddish H-alpha light is dominant. Although it is hardly recognized in this image, a central star has a brightness of 17.7th magnitude. It is considered that the nebula is fairly ancient planetary with the released gaseous matters distributed from the star.
This image has been cropped with an equivalent focal length of 700mm.
