This is a wide-field image capturing a region spanning 16.5×11.0° centered around ο-UMa, which corresponds to the tip of the nose of the Big Bear. In this area, extremely faint molecular clouds drift, with the most prominent being LBN 727 and its surrounding nebulae, visible approximately 3 degrees west of omicron UMa. Additionally, to the east of omicron UMa, there exists a large-scale molecular cloud extending nearly 7 degrees north to south; however, this cloud does not have an assigned catalog number.
