At the central region of Cetus, a medium scaled elliptical galaxy at 3 degrees northeast of tau Ceti has an ID of NGC720. This image shows no clear structures with a long axis of a bit shorter than 5 arc minutes and a brightness of 12th magnitude. The galaxy is forming a small scaled galaxy group with members in outskirts, estimated as about 80 million light years away.
