NGC6503 is a middle-sized spiral galaxy in eastern region of Draco, positioned about 2 degrees south of psi Dra.
Although the galaxy has unclear spiral structures, we can appreciate dimmed outer region and lights of inner-galactic matters and central bulge.
The galaxy has a long axis of about 7 arc minutes and a visual brightness of 11th magnitude, we can detect elongated light through medium ranged scopes.
