NGC4051 is a small-scaled galaxy positioned around the root of Big Bear's hind leg, you can find out about 4 degrees southwest of a major galaxy M106.
NGC4051 has classified in the "Seyfert Galaxy" have very active central bulge, and the galaxy has selected in one of first-light objects of Subaru telescope in Hawaii.
The galaxy has a feature of bared and spiral galaxies, and has a long axis of about 5 arc minutes or so.
The distance from us has been estimated about 35 millions light years.
