In west region of Leo Minor, NGC3003 is a small galaxy being positioned near a boundary on Leo.
The galaxy has a feature of edge-on, classified in indistinct spiral. The long axis and brightness of the galaxy are a bit smaller than 6 arc minutes and 12th magnitude, respectively.
NGC3003 has formed a small scaled galaxy group with surrounding galaxies, distance has been estimated about 80 millions light years.
