This image has captured an interacting galaxy pair positioned at about 4 degrees WNW from omicron Leo, a tip star of the Leo's forefoot. A western (left hand side) and an eastern (right hand side) ones are NGC2872 and NGC2874 respectively. Both galaxies have sizes of a bit smaller than 3 arc minutes and brightness of 12th or 13th magnitude. It's considered that the pair has a figure of the collision of different classed galaxies. More, a minor galaxy in just north of those has an ID of NGC2873.
