This is a spiral galaxy located in the eastern part of the constellation Fornax, at approximately 2 degrees due north of the δFor. It has an elliptical shape with a major axis of just over 6 arc minutes, and its internal structure appears somewhat indistinct. It belongs to the Fornax Galaxy Cluster and is located at a distance of approximately 63 million light-years.
