NGC1395 is an elliptic galaxy positioned at about 2 degrees southeast of tau5 Eri. The galaxy has an apparent diameter of about 6 arc minutes, classified in medium scaled one in the "Eridanus galaxy cluster" in which many galaxies distributed in this field included.
