NGC1255 is spiral positioned in northern region of Fornax. The galaxy has a figure of elliptic with long axis of 4 arc minutes, we can see several H-alpha regions on its arms. This galaxy is principal member of NGC1255 Group around a border between Eridanus and Fornax.
