An indistinct dwarf galaxy in 30 arc minutes north of delta Leo, forming the back of Lion, has a name of Leo II. The galaxy belongs to the Local Group of Galaxy, about 670 thousand light years away. Leo II has a diameter of about 10 arc minutes, fairly larger one but very dimmed galaxy, so discovered in 1950 with another dwarf galaxy of Leo I just north of Regulus.
