IC448 is a compact bluish reflection nebula laying at 2.4 degrees north of the Rosette Nebula in Monoceros. The upper side of this picture has captured the southern edge of reddish emission nebula of Sh2-273 which includes the Cone Nebula.
IC448 has a span of about 15 arc minutes. A 4.5th magnitude 13 Mon glittering at the center is lightening the reflection nebula. And you can appreciate that some H-α filaments are overlapping IC448.
