In western edge of Cepheus, this image has captured a minor reflection nebula positioned at about 1.5 degrees west of a bright nebula of NGC7023 (Iris Nebula). A fan-like nebula is reflecting light of the "PV Cephei" variable at the root of the fan. It's known that the nebula changes its shape and brightness with the variable star, can be grouped with the Hubble's variable nebula in Monoceros. At the time I took this image, the nebula has a visual brightness of about 12th or 13th magnitude and a span of about 3 arc minutes.
The nebula is registered in no major catalogues, normally called with name of an Armenian astronomer who discovered the nebula in 1977.
