It is a small planetary nebula located 1.7 degrees east of β Lacertae in the constellation. It emits red Hα light and has a ring shape. It is slightly flattened in the east-west direction, with a major diameter of approximately 2.7 arcminutes. Although it cannot be confirmed in this image, the central star is an extremely faint white dwarf with a 19.6th magnitude.
